Bio
A native Tucsonan and sworn Brooklynite, Carson was introduced to Newburgh and fell, unexpectedly, hard. In 2020, he relocated full-time, drawn by the spectacular surrounding nature and a fascinating walkable city, birthplace of historic preservation in America.

A Newburgh architecture evangelist to anyone who’ll listen, he’s at work on the restoration of an 1836 Greek Revival townhouse — @onequalityrow on Instagram. He’s also on the board of the Historical Society of Newburgh Bay and the Highlands and sits on the Newburgh Architectural Review Commission.

Carson manages the myriad pieces involved in clients’ transactions, from paperwork to wrangling inspections, lawyers, contractors, and municipalities. His knack for keeping the trains running on time comes from careers in NYC where he managed teams in TV (MTV, HGTV, and Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show) and then helped scale CitiBike while at Lyft.

Carson grew up blocks from urban renewal destruction, the likes of which tore through US cities in the 60s. Newburgh itself was robbed of more than fourteen hundred buildings through those programs with little built as replacement, but today it’s resurgent with a dense, diverse, and walkable core which comprises New York State’s second largest historic district, just sixty miles upriver from NYC. He’s proud to be a part of building the next chapter in this City and will be glad to help with your own Hudson Valley journey, whatever your hopes are.

Bio
As a top photographer and filmmaker in the Hudson Valley and New York for the last 20 years, Joshua creates unique and engaging content for our seller clients that most other brokerages do not provide. Joshua’s images and films are integrated into custom websites and social media campaigns.

Born and raised in the south, Joshua spent 9 years in New York City before moving to Newburgh in 2014. He later met his wife who was living in Brooklyn and they now have a daughter and two dogs in the Washington Heights neighborhood on the south side of the city.

Joshua still works as a photographer and filmmaker. His background is in weddings and family photography, but has more recently expanded into commercial videography for local small businesses. He also spent 5 years working for Apple and applies those marketing skills learned there to real estate and photography.

He is currently the president of The Newburgh Heights association and is deeply involved in the amplifying the community he is a part of. When he isn’t out shooting or hanging with family, you’re likely to find him hiking in the Catskills with his dogs or trying out his next favorite taco spot or jerk chicken vendor.
